Description

Outdoor painting day. Let your artistic talent loose, whatever your age, and enjoy a creative (and fun) day painting ‘en plein air’! The choice of topic is yours – landscapes, portraits, abstracts – in whatever medium.

Sign in at the park between 9-10am and return artwork 4pm. Artists to bring own canvas or paper, easel and equipment, and a frame if required.

Age groups: up to 11yrs, 12-18yrs and adults 19yrs+. See competition page. Sponsored by Derwent Pencils.

Organised by Steve Abbott, silhouette cutter, entertainer and local watercolour artist. Steve can be seen as a regular demonstrator for the Derwent Pencil Co. in Keswick. He is Adult Education tutor for Cheadle & Marple 6th Form College and Life member of the Society of Marple Artists.
